Many companies we cover here at ThinkComputers launch products in Japan ahead of a worldwide or US release or even solely in Japan. That is the case with MSI and their new low-cost GeForce GTX 680 Lightning L Graphics Card. The card features a dual fan design and dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connections. It has official clock speeds of 1019 MHz / 1084 MHz GPU Boost, which makes it faster than a GTX 680 reference card (1006 MHz / 1058 MHz), but slower than the original MSI GeForce GTX 680 Lightning (1110 MHz / 1176 MHz).
There is no word yet on pricing or if the card will be available elsewhere. It is a good choice if you cannot afford MSI’s original GeForce GTX 680 Lightning.
