It looks like MSI has posted a trailer (see below) for their upcoming GeForce GTX 780 Lightning graphics card. This card will be the highest factory overclocked card that MSI will be offering in their GTX 780 series of cards. It is also speculated that the card featured a redundant BIOS and a feature that lifts many of the BIOS-level limits, protections and fail-safes. If that is true it will be the first GK110-based graphics card to feature over-voltage beyond NVIDIA’s limits.
We really do not know much about the card, but since MSI’s new TwinFrozr IV cooling solution on MSI’s GTX 780 Gaming Series card has overclocking headroom and runs cool we expect MSI to use the same cooling solution on the Lightning card. Although as expected MSI will paint it black with yellow accents. MSI plans to launch the card on August 7th, 2013. Check out the trailer below.
