The F.R.E.Q. 9 uses AM3D audio enhancement technology which delivers precision surround sound. The headset also have digital noise cancellation. So there are actually microphones inside of the headset monitoring what is around you to help cancel that sound out for the best possible listening experience. There is an included iOS and Android app for the noise cancellation that you can use to calibrate the noise cancellation. So say you are on a plane and you don’t want to hear the ambient noise but the flight attendant comes around and asks you what you would like to drink, her voice will come through so you do not have to take the headset off.

The headset also comes with a heavy duty carrying / travel case.
