LUXA2 Lavi L Bluetooth Headphones Review

Usage & Testing
Before you start using the Lavi L headphones you are going to want to make sure they are charged. With the supplied USB charging cable you can charge up the headphones. The indicator LED on the right earcup will light up red to let you know it has started charging and will turn blue when charging is complete.

Once you are all charged up do a long press on the power button to turn on the headset and get it into pairing mode. Now on your Bluetooth device go into your Bluetooth settings and they Lavi L should be listed under available devices. Click on it and it will pair. Now you can start listening to music!

LUXA2 Lavi L Bluetooth Headphones

I mainly listened to music with the Lavi L, everything from rock to techno. The sound playback was crisp and clear and surprisingly the headphones had a good bit of base. Now it was nothing compared to a full-size headset, but definitely better than say a set of earbuds. The sound was good, but as I continued to turn it up it would distort a bit.

As far as comfort goes if you are used to headphones that sit over your ears these will take a little while to get used to at first. But once you get used to them, they are pretty comfortable. I would have liked to have seen a little more cushioning on the headband though. The controls on each earcup were easy enough to reach and I had no problem changing songs on the fly with my phone in the other room.

Final Thoughts
For a $30 headset you really can’t go wrong with the LUXA2 Lavi L. Keep in mind that many Bluetooth headsets and even earbuds cost much more than that. The Lavi L is small and compact, which makes it easy to throw in a backpack and travel with. The device was extremely easy to setup, I had it paired and ready to listen to music in less than 5 minutes.

When it comes to audio quality the Lavi L does have impressive 40mm drivers for such a small headset. The sound quality is clear and crisp, although it does distort as you start to turn it up really loud. There is not a whole lot of bass. but that cannot be expected with a headset of this size or price range.

The controls on the headset make it very easy to switch between songs without having to have your Bluetooth device around. When it comes to comfort as I mentioned it might take a little while to get used to the earcups sitting on your ears rather than over them, but the headset is pretty comfortable. I would have liked to have seen a little more cushioning on the headband though.

Again this headset is going for $29.99 at my favorite online retailer, which is a great price. Overall ThinkComputers gives the LUXA2 Lavi L an 8 out of 10 score.
