If you’ve never used a mobile mount, you might ask, “Mobile mounts, huh, what are they good for?”. Short (obvious) answer, holding your mobile devices. With the H1 Premium Mobile Holder, and H5 Premium Car Mount, Luxa2 aims to bring a bit more style and functionality to mobile mounts. H1’s aluminum Apple iMac inspired body brings the style, whereas H5’s flexible body brings functionality. Packaging & What’s In The Box
Similar to the P1, Luxa2’s packaging of the H1 and H5 follows the same color scheme. Red, cream white, and modern. A picture of the product graces the front of the H1 box, while H5’s packaging allows you to see the product through a window. H1’s box is really simple, just some writing in different languages and pictures.
Whereas the H5 box has instructions on the back, showing the different rotations that are possible with the mount. I’m a bit curious why there is such a difference between the two packages. Do people buying car mounts needs more insight into what the product is like? Does the iMac-esque style of the H1 sell itself? It’s a bit interesting. Lastly, the H5 Premium Car Mount is available in three different colors, black, silver, and red.
Construction of each mount is sturdy. H1’s all aluminum chassis gives it some weight, and with a rubber base, it surely won’t slip or slide across a slick surface. I feel that each could fall multiple times onto concrete and still be functional.
The main piece that might be breakable is the suction lever on H5’s lower body. It’d made of plastic and if you try to push too hard, I feel it might break. Or if the lever somehow hit the ground first, it’d probably snap.
