Linksys WRT3200ACM MU-MIMO Wireless Router Review

Linksys WRT3200ACM MU-MIMO Wireless Router Overview
As I mentioned Linksys has gone back to their classic design, but has updated it a little. So the WRT3200ACM has a black and blue design. For those who have been Linksys fans for a while you’ll love the way this router looks. On the top of the router there is a large Linksys logo as well as some ventilation to keep the components inside nice and cool.

At the front of the router there is a section that have indication LEDs for power, internet connectivity, both 2.4 GHz and 5GHz bands, eSATA, both USB ports, and all 4 of the Ethernet ports.

Moving around back you’ll find all of your connections and buttons. From left to right you have the WPS button, four Ethernet ports, WAN port, USB 3.0 port, combo USB 2.0 / eSATA port, factory reset button, power connection, and power button. I really like the idea of a dedicated power button, so many networking devices do not have them.

Flipping the WRT3200ACM over we can see more ventilation and a small sticker with some information on it. This is very important as it will have the default login information for the router. You’ll need this to connect and login to it for the first time or if you happen to factory reset the router. Linksys makes these login details unique to each router so if you happen to not change these details for some reason you won’t be vulnerable.
