Lian Li Unveils PC-A51 Prototype, Seeks Feedback

We recently saw pictures of the new case’s prototype which were revealed by Lian Li and it seems that the plan of the new all-aluminum, wide-form ATX mid-tower case is not concluded as yet, and the organization is looking for reaction from PC users out there.

The motherboard tray provides ample of space for the share of the drive cells, and along with the back board an attractive look has been achieved with a differentiating look of black and red. The black aluminum monolith is the contemporary signature style of the Lian Li but this time something different has been tried with the transparent acrylic window featured on one side of the case and also the red insides which are done in metallic. Along with this, there is a front-oriented PSU bay featured on the case and there is enough room in case you want to add on the cards but they should be as long as 28 cm. the case also provides support and space for the PSUs which can be as long as 16 cm and also the CPU coolers which can have a height of up to 17.5 cm.

The PC-A51’s motherboard tray fully supports the motherboards of ATX, micro-ATX, and mini-ITX form-factors along with an internal drive bay. Five drives of 3.5 inches can easily be housed inside the case and every tray has the capacity to stack up to two 2.5-inch drives. A 5.25-inche drive can also be fitted inside with ease. A lot of importance has also been given to the cooling solutions with ample of ventilation brought in by a 140 mm rear exhaust and the 140 mm front-intake and two 140 mm top exhausts. The 140 x 280 mm radiators can easily be supported by these. A 2 cm clearance at the back of the motherboard tray will keep away the trouble of tangled wires.
