Lian Li Announces PC-Q27 and PC-Q28 Mini-ITX Cases

Lian Li has announced two mini-ITX cases featuring their signature blushed aluminum design, the PC-Q27 and PC-Q28. Both cases feature Lian Li’s new railing mount motherboard tray design and allow mini-ITX systems to be installed with traditional full-sized components. Both cases also features an easily removable side panel that only takes a single screw to remove. Read on to learn more about both of these cases.

The PC-Q27 has the official dimensions of 200mm x 300mm x 240mm (7.8″ x 11.8″ x 9.4″) and is wider and deeper than its predecessor the PC-Q07, which allows for longer graphics cards up to 7.6-inches. You can install up to three 3.5-inch hard drives and a single 2.5-inch drive. This is a completely passive-cooled case, so no fans are included. You can remove the bottom hard drive cage and install a 120mm fan if you like. There are two USB 3.0 ports on the right side of the case.

The PC-Q27 will be avaialble in May with an MSRP of $78.99.

The PC-Q28 is made to be more of a home server or LAN machine. It has official dimensions of 227mm x 305mm x 345mm (8.9″ x 12.0″ x 13.5″) and can fit graphics cards up to 290mm (11.4″) in length. Both of PC-Q28’s hard drive cages are removable with the twist of a couple of thumbscrews. There is a bottom-mounted 140mm cooling fan and a top-mounted 120mm cooling fan. There are two USB 3.0 ports and HD audio ports located on the right side of the case.

The PC-Q28 will also be available in May with an MSRP of $118.99.
