Lenovo Announces the Yoga Tablet

Once again Lenovo has something to grab the attention of the onlookers and this time it really has something unique and out of the box to share with customers. What Lenovo has tagged as the ‘Yoga’ tablet was leaked a few days back in images and what we have is an innovative design and something new to look forward to. This tablet features a built in kick stand which makes it stand out from the rest and one of the most attractive parts will be the huge cylinder shaped battery which has the capacity to run for 18 hours at a stretch. The name follows suit from the Yoga PCs of Lenovo and the screen can be folded and rotated at 135 degrees of angle which gives the device three different modules for usage.

People who like using the tablets in their original forms will definitely not be disappointed since the tablet can be used like an ordinary tablet without the kick stand and this will be the “read” mode. For the “stand” mode, all you have to do is pull up the kickstand and the screen will be propped up with the support of the stand. The third module is the “tilt” mode which is more suitable for typing. In this, the tablet is only slightly propped up with the support from the battery.

The tablet is going to be available in two different sizes of 8 inches and 10 inches. With the textured plastic back, the design is quite similar to that of some other Android devices which have recently been launched by Lenovo. The only major difference which can instantly be felt is the weight; the 10 inches model comes in at 1.33 pounds while 8 inches weighs 0.88 pounds.
