Le Pan TC970 Overview
Obviously the first thing you notice when you get the tablet out of the package is the large screen. The TC970 features a 9.7-inch (4:3) capacitive multi-touch LCD screen that gives you a resolution of 1024 x 768. On the right side of the tablet you have 4 touch-sensitive buttons. Starting at the top you have back, search, home and menu. Also on the top center of the tablet is the 2.0 mega-pixel camera.
When you first pick up the tablet it does have some weight to it, as it should. It also has a great feel to it. This is because most of it is made of aluminum, not plastic. The entire back of the tablet is bushed aluminum, which not only gives it a good look, but protects the tablet as well. There is a a Le Pan logo at the center and to the left are 2 stereo speakers. On the right side there is a hook where you can attach the hand-ring.
Along the top you have all of your buttons and connections. From left to right you have the power button, hold slider, volume up / down, the microSD card slot, USB power connection and a headphone jack. The microSD slot already has a 2GB microSD card installed, but you can switch it out for a larger microSD card up to 32GB.
