Kingston HyperX FURY DDR4-2666 16GB Memory Kit Review

Final Thoughts
Again we are not disappointed by a memory kit from Kingston. First off this kit looks awesome! The black heatspreader and black PCB go great together and allow you to match the kit with pretty much any motherboard out there. On top of that the heatspreaders are not large at all so you are not going to run into any clearance issues with CPU coolers.

When it comes to performance the kit’s XMP profile has the memory operating at 2666 MHz with timings of 15-17-17 at 1.2V. This means that the kit is going to run like many other DDR4 kits at this speed. We were able to push the kit from 2666 MHz all the way up to 3000 MHz without having to change the timings, just the voltage. I would have no problem running the memory at this speed full time either.

As always we try and find something wrong with a product, but with this memory kit there really is not much to like at all. Kingston backs their memory kits with lifetime warranties, which gives you ease of mind too.

The HyperX FURY dual-channel DDR4 kits are available in 8GB and 16GB capacities. The HX426C15FBK2/16 kit we reviewed today is selling for $119 at our favorite online retailer. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Kingston HyperX FURY DDR4-2666 16GB Memory Kit a 10 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
