Kingston HyperX FURY DDR4-2400 32GB Memory Kit Review

Final Thoughts
It is great to see Kingston offer a second HyperX DDR4 memory kit, giving consumers a real choice when looking for a high-performance DDR4 memory kit. Kingston’s first DDR4 kit, the HyperX Predator is a great kit, but has a rather tall heatspreader. That could cause clearance issue for some people. WIth the HyperX FURY kit you do not have that issue as the heatspreaders are not tall at all. On top of that the heatspreaders have a nice look to them and their black design with black PCB will match up with many different motherboards out there.

As far as performance goes this kit’s XMP profile has it running at 2400 MHz with timings of 15-15-15-35 at 1.2V. The kit performs just like any other 2400 MHz DDR4 kit out there. What I was really impressed with was how far I was able to push this kit. Keeping the same timings as the XMP profile I was able to bring the kit all the way up to 3000 MHz completely stable. I would have no problem running this kit at at speed all of the time. That is a 600 MHz overclock from the set 2400 MHz in the XMP profile.

I kept on trying to find something not to like about this memory kit, but there really isn’t. Kingston really knocked this one out of the park. Did I mention this kit have a lifetime warranty as well?

Right now the kit that we reviewed is currently selling for around $469 online. Considering you can run this kit at 3000 MHz no problem at all and 3000 MHz kits are selling for $600+ that is not a bad price at all.
