Performance Testing
For testing we will be using the DataTraveler Locker+ G3 on our X99 system, connected via USB 3.0 of course. Keep in mind Kingston advertises this drive to have speeds of 135 MB/s read and 40 MB/s write. Our first test is ATTO Disk Benchmark.
Here we can see that drive peaks out at 150 MB/s read and 95 MB/s write, much higher than the advertised speeds. Next up is CrystalDiskMark.
Well that ATTO test was no fluke, the drive performs just about the same in CrystalDiskMark!
