Jabra VOX In-Ear Headphones Review

Jabra VOX Overview
When you first get the VOX headphones out of the box you are going to check out the earpieces. They are styled in black with a silver accent that has a small Jabra logo on it. Their curved design is made to fit the contours of your ear so they are not only comfortable, but won’t move around that much either.

Powering the headphone are an 8.6mm driver with a 16 Ohm impedance. Frequency range is 20hz – 20khz with sensitivity rated at 120db at 1v. The earbuds are pretty easy to remove and put back on the earpieces.

Moving down the cable you will notice two small magnets on each cable coming from the earbuds. Jabra calls these “SnagIt” magnets. They clip together to keep your earbuds in the same position when you throw them in your bag.

On the right cable you will find the in-line controls. These will allow you to turn the volume up or down, play or pause music, and it does have a microphone on it to answer calls. Moving down to the cable it comes to a “Y” and goes into a single cable.

Finally at the bottom of the cable is the connection, which is at a 90 degree angle. The total cable length is 120mm so you shouldn’t have any issues having your mobile phone or MP3 player in your pocket and having the headphones reach your ears. I also noticed that the cables were pretty heavy duty. They have actually been tested to up to 33 lbs of force! So don’t expect them to easily break!
