Apple is expected to announce their new smartphones tomorrow, but it seems a new leak has just emerged that gives us even more information on the upcoming iPhone 5S. If this leak turns out to be true the iPhone 5S is going to be pretty boring, merely a simple upgrade, but that is what we expect from Apple right?
The major changes from the current iPhone 5 model are as follows:
- CPU: Apple A7 Soc, an upgrade from the current Apple A6
- Camera: Still the same 8 megapixel camera, but has an upgraded f2.0 lens and is capable of recording at 1080p at 120fps (double of the iPhone 5). You will also get a dual LED flash.
- Standby time is improved from 225 hours up to 250 hours
- Home button has been redesigned with a fingerprint sensor
So as you can see this is a minor upgrade. It looks like Apple is following other handset makers by focusing a lot on the camera. The A7 chip seems to have helped battery life, but he have no clue on the exact specifications of it. The big rumor was the fingerprint sensor and it looks like you will be getting that on the iPhone 5S.
We will have to see if all of this is true tomorrow when Apple hold their event.
