ADATA XPG Z1 DDR4 Overclocking Memory

ADATA’s XPG Z1 will be their flagship DDR4 memory line. The operating voltage has decreased from 1.5V to 1.2V, which is a 20% reduction of power, and keeps the system at a low temperature for stable operation. With speeds of up to 2800 MHz, timings of CL 17-17-17 and transfer bandwidth reaching 22 GB/s, the XPG Z1 provides improved efficiency of data transfer than ever. It only requires 1.2V to achieve high clock frequency of 2800 MHz for overclockers. In addition, the SPD (Serial Presence Detect) of XPG Z1 allows direct application without changing settings in the BIOS, facilitating usage and system stability.

The XPG Z1 features a jet wing-inspired design with carbon texture used for race cars, symbolizing the pursuit of extreme performance. Thanks to the unique Thermal Conductive Technology and 10-layer PCBs with 2oz copper, the chips in XPG Z1 can contact with the heat sinks directly, ensuring IC and PCB operate in an environment of equal temperature, as well as reduce electric resistance and consume less power, which greatly enhances the quality of signal transfer.

G.Skill Ripjaws 4 DDR4 Memory

The new DDR4 memory kits in the Ripjaws 4 will feature all new redesigned heatspreaders in three different colors. The Ripjaws 4 DDR4 memory will have a standard frequency of 2133 MHz, but will also be available in 2400MHz, 2666MHz, 2800MHz, 3000MHz, and 3200MHz. Kits will be available in 16 GB (4GBx4), 32 GB (8GBx4 / 4GBx8) and 64 GB (8GBx8) capacities. The Ripjaws 4 will have an ultra low voltage rating of 1.2V for kits under 2800 MHz and 1.35V for 3000/3200 MHz kits.

Ripjaws 4 memory kits above 2400 MHz will support Intel XMP 2.0 for trouble-free tuning. G.Skill says that Ripjaws DDR4 memory is validated for compatibility on most upcoming X99 motherboards. The new kits are available in blue, red and black. For those wondering the height of the kits are only 40 mm.
