Intel Core i7-4770K “Haswell” CPU Benchmarks

The upcoming flagship consumer processor based on Intel’s Haswell architecture will be the Core i7-4770K. It looks like Tom’s Hardware has one one hand and has already run it through quite a few different benchmarks and tests. They are comparing it directly to the Core i7-3770K “Ivy Bridge” processor and the Core i7-2700K “Sandy Bridge” processor. Read on to see some of the benchmarks.

Looking at the test it seems like the Core i7-4770K offers a slight performance upgrade over the Core i7-3770K, but in other tests it performs lower.

Looking at all of the test results we can see that the Core i7-4770K is only maybe 7-13% percent faster than the Core i7-3770K in a multi-threaded workload. Intel is expected to launch their line of “Haswell” desktop processors in June.

Here is the fourth generation Intel Core Desktop lineup.
