Conclusion

The In Win Maelstrom is certainly a different take on the recent amount of In Win cases that I’ve seen. It has a unique design built with a solid structure. The amount of airflow and cooling options of this case still amazes me. The sound proofing, an entire black interior, extra USB/eSATA easy-access ports along with many other features provide this case with some nice benefits. The best part is this case can be found online for around $110. This quality case packs the features of many other cases and puts it all into one. Think Computers would like to award the In Win Maelstrom Full Tower Chassis a 9 out of 10 score and our Editors Choice Award.

Pros:

- Plenty of room
- Extreme cooling/airflow
- Sound absorbing foam
- Easy to install
- Unique design

Cons:

- No tool-free design for expansion slots
- Long motherboard power cable required

Cool looking case but the non-removable right side cover makes wire management virtually impossible. Also I'm not sure why they bothered putting acoustic foam in a case like this,

Not really a big fan of premodded cases like this so its a pass for me.

The sound absorbing foam is a great addition to the case, as it will lower the noise coming from the case. Also most cases around this price range do not have this feature. I do dislike the fact that they added a handle on the front that serves no purpose, and feel that it makes it look uglier, so either remove it, or make it have a purpose. Overall, still pretygood

It would have made more sense to put the handles up top.

As long as they actually functioned, it would be much better. the “decorative” front handels are an eyesore
