In Win 904 Case Overview
For a full overview of In Win’s 904 case be sure to check out our video below.
As soon as you take a first look at the 904 the first thing that draws your attention is the sleek design of the case. While this case is out of the ordinary, it still essentially looks like a case. The actual dimensions of the case are 490 x 192 x 490mm (H x W x D).
The actual “frame” of the case is made of 4mm thick aluminum alloy. The part of the case actually wraps around the case completely. In Win wanted to keep this sleek look so there are no actual drives or buttons on the front of the case at all. There is a simple In Win logo towards the bottom that will light up when the system in powered on.
The side panels of the case are the real show. Each side panel of the case is made of thick tinted tempered glass. These are actually solid pieces of glass, not plexiglass like we see on most cases, so please handle with care.
On the main side panel of the case you will find all of your connections and buttons. You have your power button, power and HDD activity LEDs, four USB 3.0 ports and HDA connections. Under this section is a removable fan filter.
If you were wondering why In Win left the front bottom part of the case open it was to make room for a single 5.25-inch drive bay. In this bottom section there is a compartment that can be opened with a thumbscrew to reveal a 5.25-inch drive bay.
The back part of the case has a sort of cover on it that is made of the thick aluminum alloy. It is held into place by 4 thumbscrews. Once removed we can see there is room for a 90 mm exhaust fan, there are 8 expansion slots and your power supply is going to be mounted on the bottom of the case.
On the bottom of the case there are two large rubber feet.
