ICY DOCK MB672 Internal 3.5-inch SAS / SATA HDD Enclosure Review

Final Thoughts
I really like that ICY DOCK has made having hot-swappable devices on different computers easy. Eliminating the trays and making it so you just have to slide your drives in not only makes it easier, but also makes it so you can have different devices in each computer. Many of the new ICY DOCK internal enclosures are made like this so you have quite a few to choose from if the MB672 is not for you.

Besides mounting the rails on the side of the enclosure for the Antec P183 case there really is not much else you need to do as far as installation goes, just slide your drive right in. The LCD is a nice addition that many people will appreciate, easily the temperature alarm.

If you need room for extra hard drives or want an easy to use hot-swappable device the MB672 is perfect for that. I really cannot say anything bad about it! The MB672 sells for $50 at my favorite online retailer and the MB671 (no LCD) sells for $10 less. Overall ThinkComputers gives the ICY DOCK MB672 Internal 3.5-inch SAS / SATA HDD Enclosure a 10 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award.
