Once you unfold the notebook cooler is one long cooler, made to be placed under the top part of your notebook. The cooler is mainly made of ABS plastic, but the place where you laptop sits is actually made of aluminum. The cooler is quite long and Hiyatek says it can be used with laptops up to 17-inches.
Keeping your laptop cool is 2 60mm fans. The fans are located towards the middle of the cooler and run at 2000 RPM. There are vents covering them. You will also notice 2 holes on the top of the cooler, you will see what they are for later in the review.
Flipping the cooler over you can see what makes this cooler foldable, a hinge in the middle of the cooler. You will also notice 4 rubber feet on each side of the cooler. These will keep the cooler in place on your desk.
On the left side of the cooler you will find the USB cable. I really like that there is a storage area for it, which means you don’t have an extra cable to carry that you might lose. On the right side you will find 2 screws. These are actually cooling knobs that screw in to the top of the cooler that will lift your laptop higher.
There are 2 retractable feet that come up and will lift the entire cooler off the ground at an angle.
