Hiyatek HY-CF-6288-1 Notebook Cooling Pad & Stand Review

Notebook Cooling Pad & Stand Overview

As I said the HY-CF-6288-1 looks like any ordinary notebook stand upon first looks. The top is covered with a sort of matte finish told hold your laptop on the cooler. In the center there is a mesh opening where an 80mm fan sits to cool your notebook. Also towards the top there are 2 knobs that will elevate your notebook up off the cooler a little bit.

On the left side of the notebook cooler you have your fan speed adjustment, fan on / off button, DC power connection, and the miniUSB connection. Not sure why they have a DC power connection when this cooler is powered entirely by USB. The on opposite side you have the 4 port USB hub.

Flipping the cooler over there are 6 feet on the bottom that keep the cooler from sitting directly on your desk for better airflow. Also you can see that ventilation holes run across the entire center of the cooler, not just where the fan is. Along the top there is a small compartment that can hold the USB cable and some other accessories.

Interestingly enough the 80mm fan is easily removable and can be flipped around if you want airflow going the opposite direction. There are 2 arms that extend out the back of the cooler that turn this ordinary notebook cooler in a notebook stand as well. There are 2 height adjustments as well.
