Hands On With Two New Mobile Controllers From Mad Catz

Mad Catz has been making game controllers for almost 25 years. This year at CES they were showing off two new mobile controllers. The L.Y.N.X. 3 which is designed more mobile gaming use and the S.U.R.F.R which is designed more multimedia and smart devices.

So lets start with the L.Y.N.X. 3 which is designed for mobile gaming. Last year Mad Catz introduced their L.Y.N.X. 9, which was super high-end and had a price tag of $299. Not everyone has a budget for this so now we have the L.Y.N.X. 3 which will retail for $69.99. Mad Catz has designed the L.Y.N.X. 3 to be a “compact and functional controller ideal for everyday use”. It has a smart phone holder that will hold you device easily. Using an Android console? The holder is removable. The controller has the same features you see in larger controllers at less than half the size. The L.Y.N.X. 3 is currently available now.
