TuneFlex AUX & SmartClick Overview
The TuneFlex is the main part of this kit. It is a 12V cigarette lighter power connection for your iPod / iPhone. There is a long flexible arms that comes out which has a dock connector on it. Closer to the power connection is the line out connector and volume control.
The other part of the kit is the SmartClick remote, which is a small remote made to connect onto your steering wheel. It has play/pause, back, forward, and shuffle buttons. It is held onto the steering wheel bracket with a very powerful magnet. This way it can be easily removed if someone else other than the driver wants to use it.
Included with the kit are 8 holders for various iPod and iPhone models. Taking a look at the one for the iPhone it is a simple piece of plastic that will hold you iPhone in place. On the bottom there is an opening for the end of the TuneFlex to go into. The plastic seemed pretty durable, not that cheap.
You said it was a “very powerful magnet. This way it can be easily removed”. I think that's quite contradictory. Maybe could change it to: It is held onto the steering wheel bracket with a magnet, which can be easily removed if someone else other than the driver wants to use it.
