Installation & Usage
Getting your iPhone 4 in to the Outfit Ice case literally takes 5 seconds. You first take the case apart. Then go ahead and and place your iPhone in the bottom piece then put the top piece on and you are ready to go. It really is that simple!
When you get the case on your iPhone you can see all of your connections are open and easily accessible. I had no issues with the headphone jack or dock connector. The opening on the back is just large enough for the lens and flash. I did the flash test and our photos came out fine.
I have been using the Outfit Ice with my iPhone 4 for a little over a week now and I really like it. The thing that I really like is the feel of the case. Even though it is a polycarbonate case it has a nice matte finish which makes it easy to handle and is soft.
I always know I am getting a quality product when it comes from Griffin and the Outfit Ice is no exception. Most people might think of this case as just another polycarbonate case, but after using it for over a week you can see that it really is not. First off the colors that Griffin uses are very unique and vibrant. They are not the standard colors you would see on other iPhone cases. Another thing that really sets this case apart from others is the matte finish. This gives it a softer feel and makes it easier to carry with you so you won’t end up dropping your phone.
The case itself is a polycarbonate case which will provide adequate protection if you drop your phone. The case fits snug on the phone as well so you don’t have to worry about dust getting inside the case and because it is so snug it will help with protection.
There really is nothing bad I can say about this case. It sells for $29.99 directly from Griffin, which is what I would expect to pay for a case with this type of quality. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Griffin Outfit Ice iPhone 4 case a 10 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award.
