Google Chromecast Overview
The Google Chromecast is simply a HDMI dongle. Think of a USB flash drive, but just a little bit bigger, and instead of a USB connection it has a HDMI connection on the end. That of course will be plugged into a HDMI port in your TV.
On the front of the device there is a Chromecast logo and it says “chrome”. Towards the back there is a small power LED that will let you know the device is turned on.
On the back end of the device is a micro USB port which is for the included USB power cable. There is also a small black button that will allow you to reset the device if needed.
And that is basically it, the Chromecast is a very simple device.
