The BIOS
Unlike many second generation Intel Core boards the Z68XP-UD4 comes does not have an UEFI BIOS.  Instead it uses the same Award BIOS that we are all used to seeing in Gigabyte’s X58 and earlier boards.  So if you are familiar with it or do serious overclocking you prefer this BIOS anyways.  We are not going to go over everything in this BIOS, as it is pretty much the same as other Award BIOS’s used by Gigabyte.  Rest assured it has all of the settings and features you would want in a BIOS.
