Gigabyte Unveils Their XC700 Gaming PC Case

We talked earlier today about Gigabyte getting into the enthusiast PSU market, and now it looks like they are doing the same thing with cases. Gigabyte has released entry level and mainstream PC cases, but the XC700 is their first true enthusiast case!

Gigabyte XC700 Case

The XC700 is a full ATX case that features an aluminum silver and black design with a tempered glass side panel and a glowing “Xtreme Gaming” logo on the side of the case. The Xtreme Gaming logo as well as other key elements of the case light up with RGB lighting. The case does not have any 5.25-inch drive bays. At the top of the case you have room for water cooling radiators up to 360 mm, there are also 120 mm intakes along the rear, bottom, and front panels.

The case has a hard drive cage, which from the looks of it supports three hard drives. We expect there are more 2.5-inch mounts somewhere on the case. The case supports motherboards up to E-ATX and it does have 8 expansion slots so you can install a dual-slot graphics card in the bottom slot of your motherboard. You can see the case in this photo from Gigabyte’s latest press release.

It looks like there will be a XC300 case as well, possibly a mid tower? No word yet on pricing, but it looks like Gigabyte is really rounding out their Xtreme Gaming line of products.
