Gigabyte Releases 3 Radeon R9 200 Battlefield 4 Edition Graphics Cards

Many of the models of the Radeon R9 200 series graphics card have been modified into Battlefield 4 special editions by Gigabyte but the R9 290 series have been excluded from the special editions range. The most exciting part of this collaboration with Battlefield is going to be the surprise feature of the Origin keys to Battlefield 4 with the graphic cards package. Since only a specific models are being launched into this new special editions, below is a list featuring all the models which Gigabyte is going to release:

GV-R928XOC-3GD-GA

• The GV-R928XOC-3GD-GA which is quite obviously based on the Radeon R9 280X graphics card
• The GV-R927XOC-2GD-GA which is based on the Radeon R9 270X model
• And finally we have the GV-R927OC-2GD-GA, based on the R9 270

It has been revealed that the AMD reference clock speeds will be featured on the two card models; the R9 280X and R9 270X cards. While on the other hand, the special edition based on the R9 270 is going to feature a small 50 MHz OC. Models based on the R9 280X and R9 270X will be equipped with the WindForce 450W triple-fan coolers for super cooling powers and the R9 270 based card has a simpler version of the WindForce 2X Triangle Cooling solution. We have only managed to get our hands on this much information and soon there will be more. So far no news about price and availability has been disclosed by Gigabyte itself.
