GIGABYTE has just introduced the H110-D3A low-cost LGA1151 motherboard made for cryptocurrency mining. The board is built in the ATX form factor and based off the H110 Express chipset. The board has five PCI-Express x1 slots as well as a larger x16 slot. GIGABYTE touts their “Ultra Durable” components with this board, which they claim have been tested for prolonged operation.
The board draws power from a combination of 24-pin ATX, 8-pin EPS, and two optional 4-pin Molex connectors, which will condition the simple 5-phase CPU VRM. The board supports up to 32GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory, includes a 32 GB/s M.2 slot, and four SATA 6 GB/s ports. There is also legacy connectivity, which includes LPT and COM ports, separate PS/2 mouse and keyboard ports, and D-Sub display output.
Expect sub-$70 pricing on this one.
