Testing – Video
Our first video test is 3DMark Vantage. We did 2 separate tests per card. We ran the benchmark on the “Performance” setting and then on the “High Setting”.

Our next benchmarking tool is the Heaven Demo v2.1. The Heaven Demo is based off the Unigine and is actually a DirectX 11 demo. The settings we used were 1680 x 1050 resolution, shaders: high, textures: high, filter: trilinear, Anisotrophy: 4x, and we changed antialiasing on each of the 4 tests.

Stone Giant is a DirectX 11 demo produced by Fatshark in collaboration with BitSquid using BitSquid Tech. It has primarily been developed to test the BitSquid tools and technology in a real-world production environment. The demo showcases how DX11 hardware tessellation can be used to achieve a high level of geometry detail in close-up shots. The settings we used were Resolution: 1680 x 1050, Aspect: Auto, Tessellation: High.

Newegg has this thing for $99 after a mail in rebate. Unbelievable.

It’s $99 after rebate because it’s the most worthless piece of garbage you could buy for $99. Mine is so unstable that I’m lucky if I can login without crashing! Do something better with your $99 and burn it or flush it down the toilet… at least this way you wont spend more time and money talking with tech support!
