Gigabyte Fills Gap in Models with New G1 Gaming Board

Gigabyte’s Z170 G1 Gaming series has been very successful thanks in part to the awesome feature set as well as the great color choices and aesthetics. The line is fairly well filled out with board options, however there has been a gap in boards between the G5 and the G7 gaming boards. That’s where the GA-Z170X-Gaming 6 board comes in.

The board is Z170 so of course it supports Skylake processors and all of that. The biggest difference between this board and it’s siblings is the use of black on the shrouds and heat sinks. While we love the white and red combination it is nice to have another darker color choice.

With the G6 you get three PCIe connectors and two x4 M.2 connectors. 115dB SNR HD Audio is included as well as a single Killer E2200 Ethernet port.

Overall you’ve got a really nice board here that fills the price gap for Gigabyte and provides a new color choice as well. This board should be available shortly for a soon to be determined price.
