Testing – Benchmarks
To check out the performance and stability of the system, I ran a series of popular benchmarks, both at stock clock and at my overclock. To make things interesting, I ran the same benchmarks on my main rig, which consists of a C2D E8400, Gigabyte X48-DQ6, 4 gigs of Corsair DDR3-1600 memory, and the same Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 Toxic video card. It is a pretty strong system, and typical of a mid-upper range enthusiast LGA 775 rig.

Needless to say, these are some really significant numbers, the i7 rig is impressive enough at stock clock. The overclock numbers speak for themselves.
