Gigabyte has announced a new Mini-ITX motherboard in their B85N-Phoenix. As you can guess by the name the board is based off Intel’s B85 chipset and feature the LGA1150 socket.
The board features a unique color scheme of black and orange (we normally see this on Gigabyte’s OC line). The board will feature a 4+2 phase VRM, a pair of DDR3 DIMM slots with support for up to 32 GB of memory, a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot, and a mPCI-Express 2.0 slot.
For storage you have three SATA 6GB/s ports, and a single SATA 3GB/s port. The board will have a total of four USB 3.0 ports, two by header and two on the rear panel. Display outputs include dual-link DVI and HDMI. While the board does come prepped for wireless (there are two holes for antennae and a mPCI slot) it is not included. Also on the board is 8-channel audio with optical TOSLINK, Gigabit Ethernet, PS/2 port, and USB ports.
No word yet on pricing from Gigabyte.
