Giada D2305 Mini PC Review

Mini PC systems are great, especially for media or web browsing machines.  They are very small and out of the way, they are easy to take with you, they have a small power footprint and they require hardly any maintenance at all.  While most mini PC’s are great for doing simple tasks, what about gaming or more intensive tasks?  This is where the Giada D2305 comes in.  Powered by the Intel i5-3427U processor and NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 graphics it is aimed at the mid-range to be an all around system that can perform basic tasks as well as intensive ones without any issues.  Let’s see what the D2305 is made of shall we?

Carried with the powerful Intel® CPU and newest NVIDIA® GT640 GPU, which is well-known of its outstanding graphics performance, as well as supporting full HD 1080P playback and Direct X 11 3D graphics support. D2305 enables you immerse in a qualified game and movie phenomenon.

Smooth communication
Giada’s D2305 includes 4GB of DDR3 memory upgradeable up to 8GB. Ports include a 4-in-1 card reader (SD/MMC/MS/MS PRO), a DVI, HDMI, eSATA, S/PDIF, 2x USB 2.0 and 3x USB 3.0. Two mini PCIe expansion slots support mSATA to take advantage of Intel SRT technology. And Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is available in D2305. For great connectivity, this high-end D2305 model has Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth.

Power Saving
The third generation Intel® Core™ processors provides more than enough computing power for all your needs, but this low energy consuming mini PC runs on just 90W. One fan keeps Giada’s D2305 mini PC at the optimal operating temperatures while staying quiet.

Packaging
Giada sent us the D2305 before they had made up their retail packaging so ours just came in a plain package.  Inside was the unit, power adapter and WiFi antenna.
