The Galaxy Heracles PCIe SSD is powered by a custom JMicron JMF811 controller that was specially developed for Galaxy. Not all of the details are known about this drive, but we do know it communicates via the PCIe 2.0 x4 connection and has sequential read and write speeds of 1600 MB/s. The drive will come in capacities of 1 TB, 2TB and 4 TB. With these large capacities you can expect the drive to have a hefty price tag, but for those who want the fastest speed possible it will be worth it.
