G.SKILL Ripwjaws V Overview
This is a dual-channel memory kit so it is only made up of two memory modules. G.SKILL has gone with an all black PCB on the modules which looks great. The heatspreader on our kit is black, but G.SKILL also offers Ripjaws V kits with red heatspreaders too.
On the main side of the heatspreader there is both a G.SKILL logo and a Ripjaws V logo. The heatspreaders are not all that large. The memory modules are only 42 mm or 1.65-inches at their highest point.
On the opposite side of the heatspreaders is a sticker that gives us all of the information on the kit. Again this is the F4-3200C16D-8GVK kit, which is an 8GB (2x4GB) kit that operates at 3200 MHz with timings of 16-16-16-36 at 1.35V. The kit is also XMP 2.0 ready.
The top of the modules say G.SKILL on them so if you happen to have a case window people will know you are using G.SKILL memory.
