Fractal Design Celsius S24 Liquid CPU Cooler Review

Installation
Getting the Celsius S24 installed is quite easy, especially if you’ve installed an Asetek-based all-in-one cooler before. The first thing you are going to want to do is install your fans on the radiator. Typically if you are installing a cooler like this you want your fans on the inside of the case so they push air through your radiator and out of your system. So you are going to want to install your fans on the side where the tubing comes out from the radiator. Once your fans are installed be sure to connect them to the fan hub that is mounted on the radiator.

From here you want to move over to your system and install the backplate and mounting screws. Align the backplate with the holes in your motherboard on the back and then secure it from the front with the including mounting screws. It should look much like this.

Now we go back to our radiator. For most of you, you will be mounting this inside of your case. For us since we are using a test bench we will be mounting it to the radiator mount on our test bench. Use the included screws to mount your radiator inside of your system.

The Intel mounting bracket was already installed on our block so we did not need to install it. If you need to install AMD bracket just twist the bracket to loosen it and it will come right off. Now very carefully remove the cover on the bottom of the block and place the block on top of your CPU lining up the holes in the mounting bracket with the mounting screws you attached to the backplate earlier. Finally take the larger included thumbscrews and secure the block on your CPU. Now all you need to do is plug in the single cable to your CPU fan header and you are good to go.
