Seems as though they're all the rage doesn't it? Here's one demonstrating an incredible lack of common sense, though it is funny: http://www.gametab.com/news/763238/
If you have any other Wii injury articles, pictures, ect...feel free to post them here.

I can't believe that people are actually suing them over this issue: herer (http://www.playfuls.com/news_05616_Nintendo_Is_Sued_8220Completely_Without _Merit8221.html). I mean there must be 10+ warnings all over that console even before you set it up. You would think that people would at least notice one of them.

This should be called "Just How Stupid can People Get" thread. It's all their own fault for failure to follow SIMPLE instructions.

I think I'm going to buy a Wiimote after Christmas just so I can mess with it on my computer.

I have a friend that put a wii controller through the screen of a 52 inch projection tv. Took him $200 to buy a suitable replacement and us 3 hours to get it on and adjust and it's still not like it was. (colors a little off)
lol. "its a stick on the TV"
thats what she said...
Yea that is the main reason why i do not want a wii.
that or im just lazy... maybe both

LOL people got too overexcited when playing Wii :p

Its not really that, they just have no hand control. For example, swinging your arm like a mad man won't make you hit the ball any harder in Wii-Tennis as apposed to just make a simple swinging motion.
This is true...
most people overcompensate though.
I don't think there is any type of velocity sensor or w/e in the controler...

Nope, all that is required is a simple motion and thats it.
Its the stupid people that blame Nintendo for all their broken electronics. If those stupid people want a solution they could always use duck tape :D
or just put a chain link fence infront of the screen...lol

I'm more surprised that the Wii mote is still intact in all those pictures. I've seen a video of someone accidentally letting a Wiimote fly into the wall. It made a good sized dent into the plaster and only the battery cover popped off the Wii mote.

Me and my little brother (9 years) were playing on the wii, and since he is little i guess he doesnt have the best hand eye coordination so when we were playing wii tennis he swung the wiimote to far and hit me right in the face with it.

You hear about the headset device their developing for the Wii, it's called Epoc and it uses your brain waves to control it. OCZ is supposed to be developing one for puters.

More reason why my parents are waiting until my little brother is older than 3 years of age to buy him a Wii. He'd probably go around killing people with it.
at least the way how the xbox controller is designed, you cant destroy a tv but you can damage it. Only if you really wanted to though
Did you know, miniguns counted as the highest death rate to TV's.

thats what i did but im also waiting for mario kart. and so far I have to say it was worth it. And since ssbb came out the wii has become so incredibly popular that there are a lot of good games coming out for it now.
really. now wait about a year and watch the wii drop 30-45% and the games come back used as $17.99- $10.00
Patience wins in the long run.

lol ya but if you wait then you may not have anyone to play with cause the system or games may be obsolete.

true but value depriciates faster than the reputation of the game...
I bought halo 2 about a year after it came out and a year b4 halo 3 and it was still popular, i bought it used for 12.99, perfect condition
