EVGA To Launch GTX 780 Ti and GTX 780 6GB Variants

It looks like other companies were feeling the pressure as Sapphire had announced two R9 290X’s with 8GB a VRAM. Those cards would outperform the GTX 780 Ti in terms of available memory. Well it looks like EVGA will be releasing both a GTX 780 Ti and a GTX 780 with 6GB of VRAM.

The new 6GB cards will be part of EVGA’s Step-Up program. This program allows you to trade in an EVGA card you purchased in the last 90 days and get a new EVGA card minus the cost of your previous card. This means if you have bought an EVGA card recently you can get one of the new 6GB cards for considerably less.

The GTX 780 6GB variant will only be $50 more expensive than the 3GB card according to EVGA. Also the card will ship with EVGA’s dual-type cooler. The GTX 780 Ti 6GB will be part of the KingP|N series of cards and will be considerably more than the GTX 780 Ti 3GB version.
