EVGA Readies GTX 980 Classified and GTX 980 Hydro Copper

EVGA is prepping two of their most powerful cards to date, the GeForce GTX 980 Classified and the GeForce GTX 980 Hydro Copper. These two cards will make their way to store shelves very shortly for enthusiasts around the world.

The EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Classified will feature the same high density heatsink array that was featured on the GTX 780 Ti, but will have an updated set of fans (ACX 2.0) that EVGA says will make for even quieter operation. EVGA has gone with a matte black design on the cooler shroud with small accents of red on the logos. This card is not all about keeping your system quiet either, it is said to deliver a 1400 MHz+ boost clock right out of the box. This will make it one of the fastest GeForce GTX 980 cards available. The actual specifications are a 1291 base clock, a 1405 MHz boost clock and the 4 GB of GDDR5 is clocked at 7010 MHz.

EVGA is also working on their top-end liquid cooled flagship GTX 980 the Hydro Copper. While EVGA has not revealed that much information about the GTX 980 Hydro Copper we do expect it to have clock speeds just as high as the GTX 980 Classified, if not higher! This will be made possible by the full coverage waterblock by by EK. The waterblock itself will have the EVGA logo across it, which should light up.

One we have more information on these cards we will let you know!
