Enermax Triathlor FC 550W Power Supply Review

Triathlor FC Overview
The Triathlor FC is a good looking power supply with its black gloss finish. It sticks to the normal ATX power supply size so you shouldn’t have any issues getting it in your case, it is only 140mm deep. Enermax is currently offering it in 550W, 650W and 700W versions.

On each side of the unit is a Thiathlor FC logo so if you have a window in your case people will be able to see what type of power supply you are using. The back of the unit is where you will find the power connection and power switch. There is also a large ventilated section to help out with cooling.

On the bottom of the unit is the 120mm T.B. silence fan that uses the patented twister bearing to reduce noise and prolong lifetime. Of course of the top of the unit you have your input and output graph.

The power supply is not fully modular and you do have some cables that come out of the unit. These are nicely sleeved and include your 24-pin ATX power connection and 8-pin CPU power connection. The cables are sleeved all the way into the unit and there is a plastic protection ring around the opening of the power supply so the cables will not rip.

All of the modular connectors are nicely labeled and color-coded so you know where to plug in your cables. There are five peripheral connections and two larger connections for video cards. The modular cables use a flat cable design and you have six SATA connectors, five molex, two 6+2-pin PCI Express and a single floppy connector.
