Enermax ETS-T40 White Cluster CPU Cooler Review

Installation
Getting the ETS-T40 White Cluster installed in your system is very easy. While the instructions are not that detailed they are enough that you can understand how everything goes together. We will be installing this cooler in our X79 system, which means Intel’s LGA 2011 socket.

The first thing you are going to want to do is install the 4 supplied mounting screws on the 2011 socket as shown below.

Next install the two Intel mounting brackets using the supplied thumbscrews. You want the mounting brackets to be in the vertical position if you want the ETS-T40 to push air out the back of your case.

Now go ahead and apply your thermal paste on your CPU. Take the fan off of the heatsink by removing the two metal clips. Then take the large metal attachment bracket and place it on top of the base of the cooler so it fits in the small holes that will keep it in place. From there take the entire cooler and carefully place it on your CPU while securing it to the mounting brackets with the included screws. The process is very easy, one of the easiest we have encountered on a CPU cooler.

Once you have the heatsink installed on your CPU you can go ahead and reinstall the included fan. Plug the fan into your motherboard and you are good to go. As far as memory clearance you will have no issues at all.
