Dell Unveils New Trio Of Alienware Laptops

Just what the gamers wanted! Dell will once again conquer the heart of gaming lovers with its latest Alienware laptop series. They have a complete new look and even got a new name: Alienware 14, 17 and 18 is the latest series coming up. Dell is basically refreshing the 14 inch, 17 inch and 18 inch laptops keeping in mind the durability and enhancement.

Alienware 2013 Lineup

While the other models like Razor and gigabyte are slimming down their models, dell is satisfied to keep its chassis thick varying from 1.6 inches to 2.2 inches depending on the model. Dell has moved over from the old traditional plastic body to the mod aluminum lid and magnesium alloy framework. It includes a plenty of LEDs including lights around the edge and a full lightened touch pad. Dell also comprises of the speakers backed by Dolby Audio Theater. Its overall a great look but if you guys were expecting something slimmer then this design will be an utter disappointment.

Alienware 2013 Lineup

All models come with a standard core i7 processor. HDD storage of 750GB is the minimum that is being offered while SSD will also be included. Particularly on Alienware 14 you can add three HDD while the other two have a capacity of up to three HDD. Talking about the graphics, NVIDIA GTX 765M (2GB) is normal on Alienware 17 and 18 while the 14 starts with 1GB 750M.

As far as display is concerned, all are non touch screen with a screen resolution of 1080p. All these models are available now with a starting price of $1,199 for the 14, $1,499 for the 17 and $2,099 for the 18.
