D-Link Wi-Fi Audio Extender Review

Conclusion
D-Link Wi-Fi Audio Extender is a handy little device whether a Wi-Fi network needs to be extended, or audio streaming is desired in a particular location. Performance was solid across the board whether it was streaming videos, surfing the web, or streaming audio. Wi-Fi Audio Extender can be purchased for $49.99 (MSRP) at Amazon. Considering Wi-Fi Extenders are about $30 – $40, and standalone AirPlay devices are $20 – $30, D-Link Wi-Fi Audio Extender has a great price point since it performs both functions at a lower price than two standalone devices. Wi-Fi Audio Extender’s only flaw is audible high pitch noise when devices connect. The high pitch noise is drowned out with music playing, but it is a bit disappointing that it is noticeable at all. Despite its one flaw, Wi-Fi Audio Extender is a great device at an attractive price point. ThinkComputers awards D-Link Wi-Fi Audio Extender a 9 out of 10 score.
