Configurations
If you couldn’t tell from the box alone the S7 can be set up in many configurations. After toying around with the unit for about an hour I returned to the default scheme. As much as I’d like to use the NumPad as a “Gaming Pad” it just didn’t have the same feel as my Belkin/Razer n52TE. Also I’m pretty sure my n52TE would have murdered the S7 in the night and then Bob would have been pissed because the product I was set to review would be… well, dead.
The Default Setup with the LCD on the Left Side
The NumPad removed leaving only the Mainboard and LCD
The NumPad in ‘Gaming Mode’ with the LCD attached and the Macro Keys relocated
