Final Thoughts
This is the first time I’ve got a chance to really take a look at a system with NVIDIA graphics in it in quite a while. Most systems we have looked at in the past year have all had ATI-based cards in them. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 is definitely an impressive card and is a workhorse. The GTX 460 performed better in all of the video tests than a 1GB 5850 that was in the last gaming system we looked at.
Besides just the video card CyberPower always uses quality parts in their builds and you do get quite a variety of choices when you go to configure the system online. The motherboard is Gigabyte, which is one of my favorite brands and Gigabyte boards offer many features that are not found on other boards. They use Kingston HyperX memory, which is some of the best around, they could have used some cheap brand, but they didn’t. The Corsair TX power supply is extremely stable and is a perfect fit for the system. The hard drive is a SATA 6G drive, once again they could have just put a SATA 3G drive in there, but they didn’t.
So is this system affordable? Well let’s see I went to my favorite online retailer and spec’d out the exact same system. My total was about $1200, CyberPower sells this system for $1099 all installed and shipped. So one you are saving about $100 and you are saving a few hours because CyberPower is building the system for you and installing the operating system so this system is definitely worth the price!
One thing I like about this system is how quiet it is and how it is not that flashy. The reason I say that is it is back to school time and this would be the perfect system for a college student. It can handle simple programs like word and web browsing, but at the same time can handle things like Photoshop and 3D graphics programs. Let’s not forget gaming as well. Like I said the GTX 460 is very impressive and will be able to play pretty much any game that is out there.
Overall ThinkComputers gives the CyberPower Gamer Dragon Gaming System a 9 out of 10 score and our Good Value Award.

Pros:
– Great build quality
– Quality parts used
– Price
– Many choices when you configure the system
– Good performance
Cons:
– None that I found
You listed 4GB in the specs 2x2GB – which doesnt make sense for the
– Would have liked to see more than 2GB of memory on the base system
Ah our spec sheet said 2GB, but the system actually had 4GB in it. The review has been updated.
I would buy this pre-configured like this. I love the case and the Asetek liquid cooling. great video card and a wonderful price! I am however waiting for the AMD 6770 to come out in October before I make my final decision.

I also should have mentioned that I liek the fact that they did not skimp int he most important area: the Power supply! i wish they had taken a picture with the system on with the front fan that lights up Blue. Also did they pay extra for that nice wiring job? Why on Earth would anyone use the windows index experience to get a benchmark? it tells people nothing. Secondly why not runt he games at 1920×1200? This set up is more than capable for that. If I could get it from newegg and just wait 3 days for shipping. I’d buy this today!
