Ballistix Tactical Tracer Overview
There are actually two different versions of the Ballistix Tactical memory. There are the normal Tactical modules and then the Tactical Tracer modules. The normal Tactical modules feature the same heatspreaders, but they are yellow and they do not have the LEDs on them like the Tactical Tracer modules do.
The Ballistix Tactical Tracer modules have a really awesome design. They feature a black and gunmetal heatspreader and have a black PCB that matches the heatspreader. In the center of each module is a Ballistix Tactical Tracer logo and a small Crucial logo towards the top left.
The top design of the heatspreader is what distinguishes these modules from other Ballistix modules. The top gunmetal heatspreaders stick up just above the modules and have a pretty cool design. On the opposite site of each module is a sticker that gives you all of the information about the module and the part number which in our case is the BLT4G3D1869DT2TXOB.
If you look at the top of each module you can see the LEDs. It looks like you have 10 LED’s on each module and of course there are ground-effect LEDs as well. I can’t wait to get these in our system and see what they look like!
