Final Thoughts
Our overall impression of the ML120 PRO LED is that Corsair has designed and built a super solid fan that should last a serious long time. This is based on the overall build quality, which is fantastic and second to none, as well as the technology employed. The magnetic bearings ensure that there is the absolute minimum amount of contact within the motor between moving parts. This is all backed by and awesome 5 year Corsair Guarantee.
Overall the sound quality from these fans is excellent. They are silky smooth through most of the speed curve and only become intrusive at their Max speed. Finally as far as performance is concerned they are right up there with the best. No they didn’t out match their opponent in our shootout, but it was close enough that we wouldn’t not choose the ML120 PRO LED because of the test results.
Unfortunately we have to say the LED effect isn’t very impressive. Especially when this is the day and age of RGB LED everything. For us they are simply too subtle.
