Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 Memory Overview
Corsair’s Dominator Platinum memory is pretty impressive. You have an all black PCB with with heavy black heatsinks on each side. In the center you have the Corsair logo nice and big as well as a sticker that shows the speed of the memory.
Since this is a dual-channel key we have two memory modules (2x 8GB). On the back there is another sticker that has all of the relevant information such as the model number (CMD16GX4M2B3200C16), timings (16-18-18-36), speed (3200 MHz), and voltage (1.35V).
At the top of each module you’ll find a heatsink as well as a solid top bar. You’ll actually find a light bar inside of this top bar. One thing that is nice is that the top bar is completely removable if you wanted to paint it or do any other modifications.
Etched into the top bar is the Dominator DDR4 logo, so if you have a window in your system everyone can see that you are rocking Corsair Dominator memory.
The cooling solution on this memory does extend past the height of the modules, so that is something you are gonna want to keep in mind.
